Tenino is home to the Tenino Timberland Library
- Tenino joined the Timberland system in 1972 and opened the library in the Tenino City Hall, a former stone quarry headquarters built in 1922. In 1987, the library moved into a remodeled bank building. An additional 1,120 square feet was added during a remodel in 1996. In 2021, the library received several upgrades including new shelving, office space, furniture, and interior paint.
- The Tenino library is one of twelve Timberland locations to feature Expanded Access Hours (EAH), allowing registered users to access the library from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. every day, including weekends and holidays.
- Visit the library to enjoy free Wi-Fi, public computers, printing, scanning and faxing services. With your library card you can borrow books, movies, and more whether what you're looking for is on the shelf in Tenino or any of TRL's 29 locations, and there are never any overdue fees. Visit TRL.org to check out the events calendar to view upcoming programs and activities for all ages.
