What we do
PARC stands for Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture. We serve the community by providing health, inspiration, and recreation opportunities through quality programming, facilities, and community events. We work to develop and promote the Tenino Creative District and the Tenino Historic District. In addition, the department furthers the preservation and enhancement of the environment through planned parks, open spaces, and natural habitat areas.
Facility Rentals
Tenino has several facilities that are available for your events, meetings, and for recreation.
- Quarry House Community Center has a maximum capacity of 60 people and has seating for 50.
- Council Chambers at City Hall has seating for 32 and is fine location for meetings, and small gatherings like Baby Showers.
- 2 Park Shelters.
- Party Pavilion at the Tenino Quarry Pool (July & August).
- Quarry Campground is available for Group Camping.

Do you have a special skill? Interested in becoming an instructor?
Classes may include art, dance, theatre skills, crafting, cooking, athletics, etc. Check out our Class Proposal form below to learn more about pitching a class and how our program works. We are always taking applications.
